Working Title


Dream Journal is a strongly written and deeply involving psychological/paranormal thriller,
offering a unique perspective on the consequences of the pursuit of fame at
any cost.
The story involves the professional practices of Flannery Carr and her partner Roan Dole, both
psychologists and both are in the business for completely different reasons. Roan Dole must,
at any cost, become an equal in the moneyed society that he finds himself on the periphery
of; and Flannery Carr who is totally dedicated to her women’s group and her treatment
protocol of the maintenance of personal dream journals which will help her patients achieve
a higher self realization.
Roan Dole is looking for that one patient that will catapult him into the talk show, book review
circuit, gaining personal fame and fortune along the way. One day the perfect patient enters
his office and through regression techniques and intense hypnotherapy the personality
"Nine" is released. Once free, Dole cannot control him and the result is an ever escalating
string of gruesome murders and mutilations.
